Family-priority worksheet

On-page school priority scorecard

Compare up to four current private or DSS schools using one set of weights and parent ratings, with the calculation visible at every step.

Not a ranking

Scores reflect only the weights and ratings entered on this page

The worksheet does not automatically use the P1Tracker research index, academic outcomes or competitor data and does not predict admission. Verify official facts in comparison first, then enter family ratings.

1. Choose up to four schools

2. Set one shared weight set

0 excludes a factor; 5 means it is most important to the family.

3. Visible calculation

Total = Σ(weight × rating) ÷ Σ(weight × 5) × 100

Every non-zero factor needs a 1-to-5 rating for each school. Until then, the result remains incomplete and no total is produced.

4. Parent ratings and results

All choices remain in current-page memory.

No storage, sharing or admission prediction

School choices, weights and ratings are not written to local storage or submitted to a server; reloading clears them.

Frequently asked questions

How is the total calculated?

The total is the sum of weight times parent rating, divided by the sum of weight times 5, then multiplied by 100.

Does the site rate schools automatically?

No. Every 1-to-5 rating is entered by the parent. Rankings, fees and other fields are never silently converted into a score.

Does the highest score mean best fit or easiest admission?

No. It only organises the same family weights and is not a conclusion about quality, child fit or admission chance.
