PLK Lam Man Chan 2027/28: application and interview plan
Online and in-person submission share the 22 September deadline. Choose one route, then keep the slot lookup and interview day as separate tasks.

These are published general arrangements. A school notice sent directly to an applicant controls any personal interview, document or registration task.
Choose one application route
Online and in-person submission are two routes; a family does not need to submit both. The online route covers the form, required uploads and online payment. A family using the in-person route must still enter personal information online, download and print the form, then take the form, application fee and any applicable supplementary information to the campus stated by the school.
Whichever route is used, follow the live school system and retain the application number and confirmation after completion. Keep the application number, identity documents, payment details and login information in secure family records. Do not upload them to P1Tracker or a public group.
The same deadline, with different opening dates
Online applications opened on 3 August. In-person submission begins on 12 September. Both routes end on 22 September. The 12 September date is not a second application round and does not extend the online deadline; it is simply the first day on which the in-person route accepts forms.
For in-person submission, check “enter basic details online”, “print the form” and “visit during office hours” as separate steps. Reopen the official page before travelling to confirm the campus, office hours, holidays and documents. Remembering only 22 September can leave an earlier required step unfinished.
2 October is a lookup date, not an interview day
First-round interview slots are published online at 12:00 on 2 October. The school-wide interview dates are 10 and 11 October. A public date is not the child's assigned appointment. Set a task to sign in and check the slot first, then put the assigned date, time and reporting instructions into the private family calendar.
The school states that applicants must attend at the assigned time and that interview dates and times cannot be changed. A family can hold both dates provisionally and make difficult work, caregiving and travel arrangements more flexible, but it cannot choose the more convenient date.
Round 2 requires a new published list
The second-round candidate list and slots are published online at 12:00 on 6 November, and the interview takes place on 14 November. Only candidates on that list enter the second round. Completing the first interview is not an invitation, and 14 November is not a personal appointment for every applicant.
The published schedule says that approximately 800 applicants will be selected for Round 2 and that their parents will meet the Principal, Vice-Principals or Senior Teachers. “Approximately 800” describes the overall process, not a child's progression probability. Preparation should focus on understanding the school honestly, natural family interaction and following the formal notice, without presenting unpublished questions or scoring weights as a guarantee.
Keep the result and registration separate
Interview results are published online on 6 January 2027. Registration for admitted students is on 8, 9 and 11 January. Three public registration dates do not mean that every family can choose any time. The applicable date, slot, documents and acceptance steps remain subject to the result page and personal notice.
Use one reminder for checking the result and a separate group for registration. Before the result, make sure the official login and communication channels still work. After an offer, follow its response and registration instructions rather than inferring a personal result from the public schedule.
Parent checklist
- Choose either online or in-person submission and complete every step in that route.
- Keep the application number, payment and submission confirmation before 22 September.
- At 12:00 on 2 October, check the first-round slot before creating a personal interview event.
- After Round 1, wait for the 6 November list instead of assuming progression.
- Check the result on 6 January; only admitted families follow their January registration notice.
