Family planning workflow
Primary One application date checklist
Keep application deadlines, school events and applicant-specific tasks as separate calendar entries.
1. Build a monitored shortlist
Choose candidate schools by admission route, location and family constraints, then retain each official admission page. Monitor an unpublished school periodically instead of carrying forward a previous-cycle date.
2. Separate opening and deadline
Record opening and deadline separately, preserving the official time and time zone. Before an application opens, the opening is the first action reminder. A future deadline does not mean submission is already available.
3. Prepare before opening
Build a document list from each school's official requirements. Photos, evidence, references, payment and file formats vary; one school's requirement is not a universal rule.
4. Preserve submission evidence
Keep the confirmation page, email, payment record and official application number after submission. These are personal data and belong in the family's own secure records.
5. Separate later rounds
Create separate tasks for a personal interview, arrangement lookup, first result, second round, final result and registration. The public deadline list covers new-application deadlines only.
6. Recheck before acting
Reopen the official source before submitting, attending or registering. A school can change arrangements or send an applicant-specific time; personal official communication takes precedence over general public information.
