How the reference order is calculated 計算方法
- Only each source's published Top 20 is used in this first edition.
- First place receives 20 points, second receives 19, continuing to one point for twentieth.
- Identical republished orderings are deduplicated into one editorial source family.
- Total points determine the reference order; source coverage and best source position break ties before school name.
The score measures prominence in these public lists only. It does not measure academic performance, teaching quality, admission probability or suitability for an individual child.

Frequently asked questions 常見問題
Is this an official Hong Kong primary school ranking?
No. The Education Bureau does not publish this Top 20 order or an official primary-school Band 1 list.
Why compare Top 20 instead of copying a Top 100?
The first release uses the portion that can be clearly compared across source families. It avoids presenting duplicated editorial lists as independent agreement and leaves room to add stronger, independently verified inputs.
Does a higher position mean a better fit?
No. Families still need to consider the child's learning needs, school culture, travel, fees, admission system and official application requirements.
